I've been taking pictures since I was in middle school! I only started my senior portrait business in the winter of 2025; however, my skills have been growing exponentially since then.
Even though I'm a newer photographer, both my price point and relationship with my clients are things I pride myself on. I'll make sure you feel supported every step of the way, because graduating shouldn't be MORE stressful than it already is ;)
I LOVE this question! Graduating college is one of the most monumental moments in your life, and grad pictures are the best way to capture that moment in time. They're something you can look back on in 10, 20, 30, or 40 years and show to your kids, friends, or anyone your heart desires.
Personally, Im a pretty crafty person, so displaying cool photos is a fun challenge. Below I've compiled a short list of some things you can do with your photos once you receive them!
1. Make an Instagram post (duh). That's probably one of the top things on your mind, but picking your top few photos to post is honestly so satisfying and will make you feel SO awesome.
2. Make a LinkedIn post! Graduating is a super important career milestone, so why not announce it on your LinkedIn profile with some adorable photos to compliment the post?
3. Change a profile picture - why not take the best photos you own and show them off everywhere you can?
4. Grad Announcements! When I graduated from high school, I created my own grad announcements on Canva and got them printed! It was such a fun experience, and I even decided to write individualized notes on the back and send them to my old teachers, mentors, and family members. I included information about the science program graduation I was speaking at, where I was going to college, and an invitation to my general class graduation! I got to reconnect with a lot of people and had a great time with my family in the process.
5. Collages, photo albums, or image boxes. If you want a way to show off the whole session's worth of photos in a nice coffee table-esc book, create one of these! Printing out photos is pretty easy, and it can be a really fun way to reminisce on your session.
6. Picture frames! If you're looking to decorate your apartment (or maybe you want to send a photo to your parents with a sweet note attached) printing your photos is an awesome option. Hot tip: Walgreens prints for pretty cheap and almost ALWAYS has a sale going on if you look up their discount codes :)
RIGHT NOW! Just kidding, you can book whenevers most convenient for you! I would highly recommend making a booking request sooner rather than later however, as the sooner we get to graduation the more my schedule will start to fill up from last-minute bookings :)
Great question! I'm a full-time student, an RA in Porter, and work two other part-time jobs, so my schedule can get a bit hectic. Because of this, the way I work is by finding a time slot that works best for both of us after you submit your inquiry and we have a video chat. My best availability is on the weekends, but since all of my packages are relatively short, It's very possible we'll be able to get your photos done on a weekday if you prefer.
Delivery of your images is guaranteed within 4 weeks, and while that might seem like a long time to wait, this is to give myself wiggle room in case my homework or other jobs pile up. Most likely, you'll receive your photos MUCH sooner, but the 4 week limit is given to ensure each picture is given the proper attention that it deserves!
I LOVE to take photos during golden hour. If you don't know, golden hour is the hour before sunset when the lighting makes you look like a Greek Goddess, so I'll always advocate for that time of day if possible. However, any time of day will work! Even if you want to shoot at night, I can make that happen :)
DUH! Taking photos in the rain can be super cool, but most of the time it can be a pain in the ass. For that reason, when you submit your booking, I'll take a look at the weather (as well as both of our schedules) to make sure that the date and time we pick won't be overshadowed by a rainstorm or pesky clouds.
I can take a lot of different things! I most commonly use Cashapp, Venmo, Zelle, or just plain old cash. If something else would be more convenient for you that can absolutely be arranged though!!
Of course not! My photo licensing policy is shown below.
"Photographer retains copyright over the Photographic Work and is able to use it for self-promotion."
So what does that mean for me?
After you receive your photos, I'll likely be using them for marketing on my website or other social media platforms. If you REALLY liked your session, I might also ask you for a short testimonial!
But overall, I want YOU to feel comfortable, so if you see a photo of yourself on my website and you think "erm, no, I don't like that," send me a text and we can figure something out! If you have any further questions about my photo policy, please don't hesitate to text/email me :)
